What does it mean by Hacking Tutorials. Is it referring to blackhat tutorials or all hacking. I want to discuss some hardware hacking and I don't know if it is allowed.

It's referring to black hat. If you want to do something like modding your computer with LEDs etc, that's fine.

Weird, I asked how to remove ads using code and it was removed + I was warned for discussing illegal activities.

It isn't mentioned in the rules nor implied. I guess if it is thought to be detrimental in any way, shape, or form it isn't allowed.

I think it has been suggested before for a hardware hacking section. All other hacking material should only be discussed at hackforums.net.
What should not be posted includes but not limited to, Account theft Fraud Virus' Malware (not malware defence) Any illegal activities, even if not illegal in your country Money theft Money laundring Any content which is not PG13, that means no pornographic content. Plus anything else that is not appropriate talk

I meant hacking as "re-configure or re-program of a system to function in ways not facilitated by the owner, administrator, or designer."

Everything that has to do with hacking is blackhat.
Although you can use Hacking tools for whitehat methods. For example Using a Rat to monitor your children , to keep them safe and under your control.

If ad-blocking and reconfiguration are considered hacking, it really has to be made clear in the rules.

Okay for future reference do not use the word hacking at all if you are talking about modding.

Not only hardware though. I am also talking about hacking software and reverse engineering.
