It does for GH's because like i'm not really sure why, but theres even a menu in the game to clear it up.

it might be because the Xbox is used to normal TV's (as in pretty much more compatible with reg TV's even if it came with a hd cable add-on.) This could cause the Xbox to be a little confused resulting in a small lag.
