You know you are the first person who has said that about number the stars? I haven't ever met anyone who read or liked that book.

I remember reading it when I was like 7, and I didn't know where Denmark was. I was getting it confused with Denver. So, I asked my dad, and he had no idea. I knew it was foreign, because one of the street names had the letter 'ø' in it, but didn't know exactly what it was. =P

I read it in 6th grade, and I remember that was the best book we read, because that same year we read "Maniac Magee" which was mediocre.

Yeah I read Maniac Magee in 6th grade also. It was a good book but I think i'v read others that tops it easy.

We recently read "My Name Is Asher Lev" and I thought it was phenomenal. The AP classes read it too, and almost all of them complained saying it was boring/stupid. (I'm in IB btw.)

I "read" the Count of monte cristo, and I thought it was kind of meh :/ Sparknotes ftw?

Right now I am reading Mao's last dancer, and it's really interesting.
