She may not be doing it intentionally, or even realize that's what she's doing, but basically, she's using you to fill the gap for whenever she doesn't have anything better going on, and you have to decide whether or not you're comfortable continuing to fulfill the role of being her "fallback guy."

I can't really give you much advice on this because there are some who don't mind. However what it's doing is preventing you from moving on with your life and finding a real relationship with someone else.

About your problem, just tell her how you truly feel, maybe she wants you but you should let her know either way. Maybe she's dating him to get you jealous, maybe you're dating other girls to do the same to her.

You will never be able to "forget it", if you truly love her, which it seems you do, don't miss your chance.
