#1
Anyone on the spring beta 2, can you tell me if its much better then Ubuntu 10.4? I'm having many to many issues for my liking.

To be honest, I like Ubuntu much better than Mandriva. I tried out Mandriva and it was a disaster. I also don't like the idea of having to pay for updates and other things. If you are having too many problems in 10.04 I'd suggest moving back to 9.10, unless you are running the beta of 10.04, in which case I'd recommend that you get 10.04 LTS.

Lets look at it from a better point of view. 10.4 is an LTS. Long Term Support. I've never had an issue with a LTS until Lucid. That doesn't look good. I'll be using Karmic to september when it becomes unsupported, then i'll be most likely staying with Mandriva. Also you don't pay for updates, thats suse enterprise. I believe there is a paid version, but the community version works fine.
