Should read this. (I know here most of you mac users are smart, but this represents so many people...)

3 years of using a Mac. Visiting all sorts of questionable websites and downloading random files, apps, etc. and not a single security threat. Ever. Never in those 3 years did I install any type of anti-virus or virus security software. In fact, you can ask me what the best anti-virus software for Mac is and I wouldn't be able to tell you because I have no idea. I've never needed it.

As if Microsoft takes security seriously. Remember XP, anyone? It took them so long to release hotfixes for vulnerabilities. If an exploit were discovered for Mac OSX, I have no doubts that Apple would patch it immediately. They have much better customer support than Microsoft does. And no, I'm not a macfag. I have never touched a mac. I use a PC

'Macfag' is a derogatory term used to describe mac users who blindly claim it's the best computer in the world without doing any research. They also generally downtalk PCs without ever having tried one.

I myself enjoy using Ubuntu and windows 7. I love the security and sense of "safety" you have with unix. And i do have to agree, Microsoft sucks when it comes to customer support. I've noticed how good apple is, just by problems with my Ipod. Don't get me wrong, they are still out to make money, but they also want happy customers.

I don't need one either. All the current updates for security are great.

I've been using a mac for a while. I've been having absolutely no problems.
