Dynex 802.11g Wireless-G Desktop Card
#1
Hello!

So I want to install a Dynex 802.11g Wireless-G Desktop Card on my Ubuntu computer, but I can't find any drivers for it. Does anyone have a solution for me?

Try this.

Go to System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers.

Do you see any that are not in use that you can enable?
This is what I have to do with my wireless card, but it's by Broadcom.

Open a terminal and do:

Code:
lspci

Under "Network Controller", what do you see?

It might be a few days (possibly even a week or two) before I can check that. Someone took the power cord away Glare

No problem. Just reply with the output when you can, and I'll help as best as I can.

Without researching, i am gonna suggest a opensource driver. Called MadWifi. Never heard of Dynex, so i can't say if it will work. But MadWifi has always worked for me.
