Negative Repping - Old Threads
#1
You people who negative rep people for bumping old threads, read carefully.

Often you don't read the thread date as the forums is pretty new and some sections ain't really busy so 3-4 months old threads are at first page. So it isn't always on porpuse.

Second, in my opinion you shouldn't have the right of negative repping someone because bumping an old thread. What's the warning system for? Report then and watch them get warned..

Discuess.

If you think a rep is undeserved, you can PM a moderator.

I know, but not everyone knows that and I doubt any of us takes and PMs for someone else.
It is better to prevent something from happening than using time to fix it Smile

I don't like necroposts as much as the next person, however I have accidentally revived a few dead threads on some other forums. Mostly when I forgot that I searched the thread up, and didn't find it on the first page Tongue.

I don't like gravedigging, but I wouldn't - rep for that. I think you should PM the offender and ask kindly for it to be removed. If he says no, ask a moderator if the rep should stay. If a moderator says it should stay, let it go.
