Need help to choose a theme for my essay

Does the competition have some type of theme they want your essays to follow? Such as modern technology, current topics of controversy, religion/science, etc...

the times are getting harder but people dont really see the reality is a theme i would suggest

I would suggest an essay on how online communication devices have changed the way in which people communicate with each other.

One point would be how the ability to communicate anonymously has had positive and negative outcomes. Anonymous communication allows people to express themselves without fear of repercussion, but it has also led to the abuse of anonymity, such as malicious hacking, flaming and bullying.

Another point can be of the different expectations and communication styles of different generations. The instant communication styles of the present vary greatly from the pace of pre-online communication styles, with later generations more expectant of instant responses.

Make an essay on the competition, make it really really good, then in the last paragraph, purposely include a lot of spelling errors, they will ponder why you submitted winning material that was not corrected right, so can not be a winner.

Why not make an essay on computers? Or gather some information on here of something.

If you're looking to spark some controversy, make a really blunt essay where all your ideas are just so outrageous people will want to continue to read on just how far you'll go.

Put in some communism and some Machiavellianism and you'll sure to get some folks a little shocked.

Blunt like this:

-solve world hunger by starving americans
-conquer mexico
-how about canada while you're at it?
-Promote cigarettes again for population control
-these are just a few..
