Using Laptop Screen For Xbox?
#1
I do not have an easy cap or any of those capture card wires. I have an hdmi cable and a laptop with an hdmi slot. I also have the AV cable that came with the xbox. What are my options?

laptop with hdmi port is used to project laptop images on a hdmi-ready tv.
That cannot be used.
U might wanna open up ur laptop and find the connection with monitor, unscrew and find a adapter to switch between hdmi and that port and connect to xbox, if it hav hdmi.Or use another AVI to HDMI adapter.
All thses things are PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for an oridnary man..

A laptop isn't meant for that kind of work.

You will need to get a different monitor.

A desktop monitor would definetly work, but not with a laptop, sorry.

Try using another monitor. I don't think a laptop is well for that.

run the hdmi to your computer, then go into your media center..wait, you want the xbox on your laptop? I dont think thats possible as of yet. I would suggest a stationary monitor with an hdmi port, they work wonders, and look great.

Try using any other monitor instead of laptop.
