Website "Icon"
#1
At the URL-bar, you see these pictures on different websites. (At the left in the URL-Bar).

How do I add a picture to my own?

Thanks, iGirls.

That my friend is called a Favicon. You need to make an Icon of whatever picture you want and upload it to the root directory of your site. So for example, you'd make it Favicon.ico and put it in the / directory.
At the top will be the same place you hang from.

<LINK REL="fav icon" HREF="images/favicon.ico">

Add that into the head of your HTML code on every page, then in your images/ folder add the favicon.ico file.

This should do the job, as you see on my site i have a white hat Smile

There are a lot of favicon generators. Search on Google for some.

Just get the icon u want and rename it to "favicon" then just put it in ur root. Wait 12 hours and normally the icon will be showing on ur site.
