That's very unfortunate. I do have to commend your mother for being such a strong woman to still carry on with her life and not let this negative incident define her.

She's a nice woman. She has helped me through a lot of things throughout my life.

All I can say is wtf? They seriously need sorting out. If they can abuse one person, they can do it to another and then another and so on. They won't stop until they're forced to. Something needs to be done but sadly, going against a police officer won't end well, unless you have hardcore evidence and that's a fact.

php, I hope you don't end up doing something stupid. What's done is done and you can't change the past.

No no, I've been over this for a while. But I still think about it almost every day. It's that whole area, Bellaire Texas. One of the worst cities in Texas. My mom has moved outside of Houston and she's (so far) having a great life. She's met a guy, and I'm moving back out there. I don't plan on doing anything... but if I ever find out who did that, I would for fact do something about it.

Some police officers are just so down right ridiculous it's unbelievable. I am sorry man and I am sure if you were there you would have protected your mother. But what about her douche bag date she was with driving home with? Didn't he do anything?

She didn't go home with him. She's not like that. She was driving back to her apartment, and doesn't like people over. It's a bit hard to explain.

Are you going to sue? I suggest doing so.

Oh wow, that's awful to hear, php. =\

It's cool you don't have to explain anything, just glad she's okay.

Oh, just reading that made me pretty raged, I kind of want to just beat them with a chair.
It's ridiculous, officers abusing there powers, and nothing happening.
Well, I hope she's alright.
