How successful are .info domains?

.com domains are commercial domains. .info domain are informational domains.

I'm not saying *.com is better than *.info, but tbh, it'd definitely get more people and more traffic.

And by getting more traffic it is better. Doesnt matter if you goal isnt traffic or just to review a site/product. It will have a higher value and produce customer happyness (for those that care) and for others its just another site.

It depends on what the domain name is. If it's memorable, you could have much more success than a .com domain.

If your website isn't remembered easily, the domain would matter, only slightly though. But, make your site catchy, different and with good colors (maybe even add .info in the banner) and it will succeed.

Honestly a .info site is just not appalling what's so ever.
I feel .net/.cc are the way to go nowa days.

I'm using a .info for my domain because I'm still building my website.

I'll be changing my domain name to something simpler, and a .com when
I'm finished.
