Linux Mint?

First off, Mint is the greatest distro to go with for a start imo. Secondly, I just tried using Photoshop through Wine and it doesn't work, so I highly suggest keeping a Windows partition. Stupid thing is, I have the Photoshop Splash screen in the middle of my desktop and I can't get rid of it.. lol

I personally don't recommend using Mint, but I guess it's because I'm used to Linux... I recommend Ubuntu for beginners.

Because Mint always gave me troubles....would slow down after about a day or so....and the way it was set-up; I didn't like it. The feel of mint is also awkward....so based on personal experience, I recommend Ubuntu.

IMO, Mint and Ubuntu are practically the same OS, with different interfaces. But that's just my two cents.
