I would like to help, as long as it's not something as huge as a Linux distro. Your other examples seem cool, though.

I'm great with C++. I've been writing small networking programs recently [connecting to a server program with a client one or with Telnet or PuTTY].

I think it'd be cool if we did some sort of iPhone app . . . although they don't use C++, do they? Hmm . . .
