Geometry is harder. In New York City, freshman learn algebra, and sophomores learn geometry. I'm a freshman, and since i took algebra in 8th grade, I'm taking geometry now, and it is pretty damn hard! It is essentially the same formulas(so far) just implemented differently.

I think Geometry is easier. I hate crunching numbers, in Geometry all you do is look at pictures, do some proofs that aren't really hard, and the occasional algebraic expression.

The only bad part is the proofs take a little while, that's kind of why I haven't done my geometry homework this whole semester... oh well.

Geometry is much harder for me. Im 17 and I take advanced math. I would personally rather do Algebra 2 than take Geometry again XD.

uber1337, it's the same in Oklahoma. At least, where I live it is. I would much rather take Geometry than Algebra.

I've taken college algebra (required for degree) and statistics. When I was in high school I found Geometry to be much easier than Algebra. What it boils down to is how your brain works. Some people find Algebra much easier than Geometry, and others are the opposite.
Do you know how to make games? Do you know 3d Modeling? If so then visit

The more 'advanced' algebra is harder than geometry, imo.
