#1
Hey i just got an acer aspire 5810t (timeline series)

http://www.linlap.com/wiki/acer+aspire+timeline+5810t

There is the linlap page, so the modules it is talking about, does any distro have them pre installed?

Thanks in advance.

Ubuntu 9.10 will work with everything out of the box with the possible exception of Wireless Networking which you can install the required Driver by going into System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers.

I'll have to agree with Salmon and tell you to go with Ubuntu 9.10. As aforementioned, everything will work straight away (in most cases). I can guarantee the wireless will work, my Acer laptop had the same wireless card.
