Apache + MyBB + co.cc?
#1
Hai guys. I know it's been a while since I last posted, and I need some help.

I'm hosting a small forum on my Apache server. However, the forum URL is http://www.localhost/mybb.

I want to change it to http://www.myurl.co.cc. I know how to register a co.cc domain, but I need help on configuring this to work with Apache and MyBB.

Thanks.

Set up a no-ip account first. Then set up the nameservers with whatever DNS entries they give you.

Also because your ip is dynamic you will need to run the no-ip client also.

Grizzly, will your method work if my server is behind a firewall?

Just make sure you forward the ports.

The extension has nothing to do with your search engine position.
