ICE writing attempt [incomplete]

I've been attempting to make some ice writing for a few hours now. After scrapping many projects, this is the furthest I have come:


Full image will say "ICE", haven't got around to the "E" yet.

Theres no real point to me doing this, i'm just challenging myself. This has proven to be really, really hard.
I will probably start again a few more times to get it looking really nice.
What do you think so far?

Oo, I've seen this tut. Never tried it myself though. Looks good so far, keep it up

Its really, really freakin hard.
Especially seeing as the tut doesn't make sense half the time (unless you really know your way around Photoshop)

I will continue when I get back in the mood. Its so complicated and takes forever, so that probably wont be soon.
