There should be more adobe products mentioned. Also Paint.Net and by MSPaint, do you mean Paint or MSPaint.

IMO I like to use Photoshop CS4 Extended because it's so much simpler but its more advanced. I love the features and its very easy to use.

I've used a few programs, but I would have to stick with Photoshop; just because of all it's features.
If I just need to do a quick image re-size, I usually use Paint.net, which is also a good program.
I have tried Gimp in the past, but never stuck with it, or liked it.
