As far as Camtasia, how does that compare with Sony Vegas? Is it timeline based? Also, isn't Camtasia for screen recording?

as for image editor, there are many choices on the internet. you might try one of the imaging sdkapplications that seem to be freely available on the internet--I just did a search for "image processing" and got a ton of hits, many that proclaimed they were free. I do this almost daily. I use an imaging sdk driver called Raster edge . Install it and it becomes a selectable processing option. Now you can process PDF , TIFF ,WORD, JEPE,etc . in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat reader! Just open an image select process, and specify the function you want, like thumbnail, resize, flip, rotation, etc. the work can be finished in several seconds.
