I think I've already made my points, try and develop your post a bit more. People aren't going to just jump onto your forum, you have to explode their brains with information about it and make them want to join.
What do we get for joining your forum? Why should we join? Do you have awards and a reputation system like SF/HF? Do you offer pay per post? How dedicated are you to the development of this forum? What are you going to do to improve this forum? Do you have an upgrade option? When was it created? What type of audience does your forum target? Teenagers? Adults? Gamers? Everyone? Little kids? Be more detailed and include a lot more information. I like you, your forum and the idea. I'm just trying to help you improve and get more people to join, don't take it personally.
