Host suspended my account

Well I bought hosting on the admin's other forum (hinthint) and the next day my account was closed because he received several reports when I had nothing blackhat on it. Do they send your info to the authorities when they receive these tpye of complaints and suspend your account? It was hosted in the US.

Anyways I don't think the host would send it to the authorities. They would just suspend you. It's kind of like posting porn on youtube. You could probably get into legal trouble, but they really won't bother. They'd rather just suspend you.

Yeah I meant Omni's other forum. The account didn't have my info on it, I had my friend setup the hosting and put the domain on his stuff even though I paid for it.

No reports are sent to the authorities (99.9% no reports are sent ; 0.1% yes) and I am sure you are not in the 0.1%

I don't think you can buy hosting from an actual forum. You can only buy hosting from a hosting company. Like hostgator.com

Anyways to answer you question, no you wont go to jail, they won't go to the authorities. And you probably won't get hosting again. You could try contacting the company you bought it from and explain to them that it was a misunderstanding

I bought it from someone on omni's other forum. I don't get why it was suspended, there was nothing to do with hacking or illegal activity. It wasn't even done yet. Maybe it was because 1. I didn't have COPPA enabled until later or 2. It was a market forum and he thought I would be selling SE'd items, carded, etc.
