You can now view a persons buddy list on their profile. It's a plugin written by another author but I believe it will be useful here and it's well-written.

I'm hoping this encourages people to be buddies here.

This is nice, I think vBulletin has this tool. Do you get a PM or something when someone requests to be your buddy? I've actually never used the buddy system on any MyBB forum including my own.

There is a notification option for when you're added to a buddy list but for now it's disabled.

If you enable it, it'd be nice.

I know you'll get spammed by buddy notification, but people like me will be happy.

I'll be your buddy, buddy.                               

Nice feature. Definitely a good way of bringing members together.

If you enable it Omni, I think there should be notification option whether to allow it or not.

So we can select whether we want notification if someone adds us as buddy.
