Well mines are starting to germinate after about a week. I covered them for the first couple of days, and then left them next to the window for about 5 days.
Here's how one of them is looking:

Mine haven't even split the seeds yet, I think I'm about to message the eBayer...

I just sprinkled them with my fingers over the soil... I've been using a water sprayer to keep them wet/moist for the past however long it's been.

That's different to how I did it.
I put a thin layer of soil over the seeds, and placed the pots inside a dish with water in it, so they constantly get water from the bottom. I haven't watered them since sowing. Might be the soil you're using as well. I'm using Miracle Grow.

I'm using tomato plant soil, I thought it'd be good for them. Also, didn't the instructions say not to cover them up? I'll ask the ebayer for another batch, then do it differently.
