HoN - Problem

So I have been playing HoN for a while.
Few days ago I broke my screen on the lap-top, so for now on I put alternative monitor plugged in lap top.
My problem is, when I start up the game, it's wide screened and after half minute or so, it start bugging black-blue screen and I can't do nothing about.
Not even turn off the game.
Alt+Ctrl+Del not working as well, yet I can hear the song in a background of the game.
So how can I fix this?
Is there specific file that I can edit and fix the things before starting the game?

What's the acronym for HoN that you're referring to here? What do you mean by black-blue screen? And are you sure it's "frozen" as for the way I think you're describing it, or do you think it's just something with incompatibility for the monitor you hooked up?

HoN stands for Heroes of Newerth, and yes it's probably because of incompatibility of the monitor I put.
I am still on lap top, but using external old monitor, Samsun SyncMaster 757mb.
