Avast! internet security not working

I can't get my Avast! running and I never disabled it more than 10 minutes at a time. It's the paid Avast! Internet Security 1 year 1 PC.

You need to remove your current version and reinstall it; there's been an error where they suddenly stopped for no particular reason.

You could seek support from Avast itself as you have purchased the software They would guide you the best

So it DID work? What version of W7 are you running, by the way? And are you running on an administrator account? I'm thinking that Starter and Home Basic are having issues if they're denied administrative access.
