I would go with Albert Einstein if I were you. Although his is a topic most people go with, he is an extremely influential person in our history and he played a vital role in modern science.

Abraham Lincoln, he was a great man, who contributed a lot to society, and the world.
You could do any US president, it'd be easy to do so, since they are famous, and have done a lot to America (and the world).
Thomas Edison would be a good choice as well, he was an amazing scientist.
