If you're a developer, download xcode (free from the AppStore) and try and make yourself a little Mac app. If you have any iDevices (iPod touch/iPhone/iPad) you can also play around with apps for those too.
Hours of creativity.

There's not as many apps in the Mac App Store than there are in the iOS App Store. However there are still some good ones. I recommend TextWrangler and Xcode.
