call of duty sucks

I have to disagree i personally own a xbox 360 elite and i refuse to purchase any other game for it just because i love call of duty so much and NEVER get bored of it. I guess it all depends on your personal preference and how good you are on the game. You find alot of people get extremely raged because they cannot get used to the change in the games but i personally think black ops is best release they have ever had just due to the game play details on the guns and also the player cards. Modern warfare 3 decent game play however the guns look kind of lame and the player cards being all the same kind of puts me off i like to have my own orginal tag. Each to there own i guess i heard call of duty 4 was epic however i didnt join till modern warfare 2.

All of the CoD games are nothing alike. It might take some real experience to notice it, but they are all totally different. I personally think that they aren't that great either, but then again I'm more of a Halo guy.

I agree, but it is fun sometimes, i enjoy a good bit of COD, but i like skyrim and minecraft better.

Well what else can they change? If they were to change the game-play it would ruin the whole franchise think of it as a upgrade but you're paying alot for it because to other people its still a completely new game especially to those that have never played call of duty before. And you can't just make it cheap for the ones who played the previous series and expensive to those who never played any, so they keep it at one price.

In my opinion there is a huge difference between MW2 and MW3, but like someone else stated in this thread, you have to be an avid CoD player to notice the differences. Yes the maps and guns are little different but the biggest thing for me was gun consistency. MW2's guns shoot and kill people so consistently. While in MW3 and BLOPS the gun might be badass for 2 or 3 kills and then all the sudden it takes an entire clip to kill 1 person. This is due to the different designs of the game and the introduction of things like weapon sway. I personally prefer consistency and love MW2. That's not to say MW3 and BLOPS are bad games, they're actually more realistic with the inconsistency and weapon sway, but I still prefer a gun that shoots the same every time.

I find there to be a massive difference between call of duty titles. Unlike many others, I really enjoyed blackops, more so than mw2 and mw3. Modern warefare 2 and 3 are very different. There are different guns, perks, game modes, and survival has been added in. The graphics have also been slightly improved.
