Background needs changing yet again (stick to a simple, subtle pattern).
Container needs to be even darker than that.
White inner stroke is still in the category area.
Change the colour of the panel background to a darker grey.

That was a simple, subtle pattern? I'll change it again.

I'll do that now, but I guess, not black, right?

No it's not? It's a lot darker now?

Will do.
Check back to the site in about 5 minutes I should have it all done.

It's looking better.
Go for a darker background. And by subtle pattern I mean something like this:

or this:

Tell me what you think now, I'm going to find a good background from that site to use now.
EDIT: Found a good background I'd like to use, what do you think?

I like it. Now just make the Panel even darker and remove the stroke around the container.
Oh, and if you felt adventurous, you could even try making the container slightly transparent.

How now brown cow?
I quite like the opacity actually, nice suggestion.

Looking a lot nicer. Now just get some nice icons, a decent banner, and you're set.
Oh, wait, the bottommenu needs to be the same as the panel.

About the bottom menu, I know.
Do you think you could design the icons and banner for me? Nothing major, just something simple for the release. You will of course get credits. I'm terrible with GFX and don't really know anyone good besides yourself and Ace.

I honestly would, but I've made a promise to myself to not do graphics for free any more. Don't have enough spare time to be doing graphics for free.

That's fair enough, if I had the money, you know I would pay you. Don't worry about it, I'll scan the web to find someone else good.
(if that sounded bitchy, it wasn't meant to)
Oh, I also changed the buttons, let me know what you think of those.
