Why can't I get over him?

I'm just saying that because i've seen it happen over and over again. Life seems like it ends after a breakup, but people always find a way to get past it at some point.

Until then, just move on and forget about the guy, unless he's okay with still being friends at this point. But it's not going to be the same, i'll give you that warning now.

It's already been a couple months.
God, I'm pathetic.

in a lot of cases for younger girls, it's not even about how much they love the person, but it's about how used to being with them that you are.

You were in-love, that's why. You just need some time to yourself, and you will slowly recover. Just keep in mind that there are plenty of fish in the sea. You'll find Mr. Right some day.

Just go out, don't think of him at all. He is 1 person in the whole world (7 Billion people) out of those 7 billion people i bet you can find someone just like him. Just keep on moving on, Do hold unwanted Memories of the past.

I'm not going to meet all 7 billion of them.
Besides, I don't want someone like him, I want him.

That's a little silly of a response, the idea he has was to show you that "there's plenty of fish in the sea" not that you have to meet them all, but who knows if you'll find someone BETTER, if you don't even try to give yourself that opportunity? You said you wanted to be able to get over him, but you're making your own feelings for the guy currently that don't need to exist if you accept to try to move on. That's the only thing preventing you from not doing that.

It's understandable if you still have feelings, but when you say you don't want somebody like him, you want him, that implies that you're not willing to help yourself and move on anyway, regardless of whatever someone tells you here.

People here can give you advice, just with anyone else who comes to the Emotional Support section, however at the end of the day it's still up to that user to interpret and use this advice. Nobody can change your mind, we can only give you suggestions and offer help.

Emotional Support is here for support, but nobody here is genius enough to manipulate a mind's decisions if one has already been made.
