Just in case, you know you wouldn't want to ran into a robber.

Or the cookie monster.

It's not just outside though.
Actually, when I leave home, it's not as bad.
I'm afraid of ghosts, and home is full of them.

unfortunately i am very much similar to yourself in this situation. The best thing to do is try and do some very physical forms of activity during the day like goin for a run or on your bicycle for a few hours come home and relax and you will eventually fall asleep. If you are sitting on your computer games console or watching tv all night then you are not draining your bodys energy which is causing you to sleep incorrectly. Hope you get sorted soon Thumbsup

I walk a lot. I realize this isn't as good as running, but I walk because I like to walk. If I decided to run instead of walk, I'd stop exercising completely.
It's not that I'm not tired enough to fall asleep. I'm exhausted. I'm just afraid.

I would advise speaking to someone about this if you could give me a ruff geological location of where you are i can try and assist you of some free help lines who will try to help you overcome the fear you have. Another option would be to try goin to sleep with music and the lights on to take your mind off your fear or alternatively goin to sleep before your parents go to sleep could also help comfort you a little.

get xanax's OR lortabs OR valiums, take 2.
drink a warm glass of milk and lay down and watch something incredibly boring about 2 hours before the time u want to go to sleep, watch it till you pass out from the pills on the first night, then itll be natural

Oh my.
My mother won't pay for any medication, I don't drink milk, I don't watch TV, and that sounds like a terrible way to live anyways.

The only way to get rid of it is by facing your fears. Go camping with a friend someday, and you'll realize that It's not so bad. Use logic, do you think there's a monster hiding under your bed? No. There's nothing to be scared of.
A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore.
