I assume you refer to the video poster?
See my thought was she simply wanted to show respect for a mate who just died?
If its me then i simply have no idea what your on about. I just thought it could be a good learning video for some younger ones here?
If a close mate of yours died would you not make a webpage or something like that to show respect to a fallen bro?

I was talking about the previous video about the gay boy being bullied. But to address your most recent statement, a mate of mine would not die from this sort of thing. I wouldn't allow it. Would I make a web page as a tribute? Very likely. Would I cry out for attention on the Internet, no. I hope the purpose of the video in the OP was to raise awareness of bullying and not to just whore attention, because that would be selfish of her. I can understand and respect the video if she's doing the right thing. It's just my cold-hearted nature to not give a crap about this sort of thing. Probably because I've seen similar videos and it no longer shocks me.

I don't think such a video could be as educational as it can be controversial.

Disagree. If this was shown to lets say 12 year olds or perhaps even 10 year olds i think it would be hugely educational.
And SF caters to all audiences so this age group is not only possible buy likely.

Didn't think there were that many 12 year olds here. I can understand from a younger person's perspective, someone who hasn't seen this sort of thing before, that this may be quite shocking and will definitely convey a strong message.

Well i have always thought that early teens and even younger would likely be the ones to be searching the net for support forums.
I mean you wont see many 40 year olds talking about suicide or there first love.
It tends to be the younger side of adult hood.
But you may well be correct. Who knows.

I don't think there's many 12 year olds looking to commit suicide either. I think the age bracket for this site is more 14-21ish. There's also a fair number of people over the age of 21.

I have been the victim of bullying for around 80% of my life, it's really not good or funny. There's been many times where I've contemplated suicide but the love of my family kept me going. I know what she went through, but I couldn't ever take my own life, even without the love of my family. I'm just not strong enough to do something like that, too scared to do it. She must have been an amazing girl and extremely strong, at 14 years old she decided to take her own life. Even now, even after she killed herself she's still being bullied, that's freakin awful.

You'll be surprised, I've helped many people in all sorts of age ranges with crap like this, usually 10+.
