I've never really enjoyed using templates, it's just the way I am. I prefer to hand code things, so I can take a seat back and think 'I coded that'. It may seem a bit sad haha, but that's the way I am. If I can find a theme I'll be happy using then I'll use it.

In that case spend more time creating a template, look into using photoshop and dreamweaver rather than notepad. Try learning some CSS instead of just plaing HTML.

I think you should get a better template aswell, personally I think a blue template yet still dark will work well with this site you have here.

I would improve on the template outside the forum as well, especially since the home page looks pretty bare, hardly anyone would want to take a look around further, if they are just a random visitor. Your bounce rate will be high.

I see where you're coming from Breshie... however you might have to sacrifice what you want for the common good.

You don't even need to use someone else's work... Just design a something nice in Photoshop and code it. What you have at the minute really is beginner HTML stuff.
