Problem with maybe a browser?

Everytime I try and watch videos online, after about 15 minutes the frame rate crashes horribly and gets extremely choppy.

*I have the most update to date Adobe Player
*I use Google Chrome with only 1 extension.

Any help is greatly appreciated with this issue.

My guess is someone has access to your computer and can be shutting down your processes, this I can help you with. Otherwise this could be a number of things. A few off the top of my head would be a overheating graphics card, or some computer component malfunctioning. I know my laptop can get pretty hot at some times, do you think I should try airblasting it?

If it is a laptop, I suggest downloading speedfan and tell me the temperatures, this will help me better understand what is going wrong.

If the laptop gets hot around the time your watching the video get a cooling pad. It can also be outdated graphic card drivers. Go to your device manger and look for your GPU. Then right click and press update drivers on the internet.

Possible the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Don't listen to this guy.

If your computer was over heating... your whole computer would turn off and wouldn't turn back on until cool. Don't worry about manually cooling your computer.

Having someone remotely shutting down your single process ONLY when you watch videos? Doubtful. As well as this comment being especially stupid due to the fact that the proces being stopped would stop the video/kill chrome, not cause the frame rate to plummet.

Easy way to check if its computer or browser... use another browser! Use IE to view videos, if it works after half an hour: its Chrome having a shitfit. If it doesn't there may be a problem with your flash player or something.

If its chrome, try deleting your profile or re-installing the app.

Though, that's not entirely true, overheating results in a number of things, and it's not always completely turning off... Overheating can result in freezing, or your computer being forced to just reboot.

Have only seen older computers freeze due to heat... normally the failsafe will kick in and reboot it and then tell you "Your computer is too hot" or something similar.

Doesn't really make sense for it to freeze as it would continue to heat up and cause damage.
