I recently created a blog as a sort of "New Years Resolution". So far, I've posted only once on it, but hopefully I will set up a schedule for at least one post per week. I'm still working on the general aesthetics of the blog itself, but feel free to point out anything you feel detracts from the overall awesomeness of the blog.
If you guys like, feel free to subscribe or leave a comment on the blog. That stuff really means a lot to me.

I think, whilst you're still starting out, you need to be posting more than just once a week. Do you have plans to monetise it in the future? If so, you're going to need to pick a niche.

And I don't think I'll be monetizing it any time soon. Ads reduce the awesome factor of any website by 40%.

I guess so. I was going for a simple white look. Helps keep the attention focused primarily on content. But I probably will tone down the whites.

It's been proven that the simple white themes are more likely to keep your visitors interested for longer. They don't get distracted by the colours and layout of things. I'd keep it as it is for now. I'm doing the same sort of thing.
