What did I just see?
#11
The distances still look out to me.
The first left heart appears to have a wider width and a straighter left side to it.
The bottom of the left heart on the right side turns more abruptly than the right.
Still i guess car angle could answer some of that.
If anyone here lives in the snow then try replicate this. Would be interesting to see.

Here's my full diagram of their driving plan just to show you that this is possible though:

I wouldn't say car. You can see a car track going through the center horizontally. These hearts have no track and are made in some sort of dragging motion, you can see the small piles of snow around the edges suggesting the snow has been pushed outwards (Dragging)

Have you ever driven in slush? it doesn't make tracks because the snow under the tires basically melts the layer of snow over the top. The tracks you're looking at definitely happened before the heart was made, and a layer of snowfall fell over top of them.

My extra proof of this in the photo: Notice how there's no snow on the main road? No tracks? There's no where for the snow to go but out when tires drive over them.

lol you guys would never make it as detectives, no offense. Pirate

The #4 marks are what had me confused at first.. But yeah, you're right. At least I think.

I just thought it would be hard to do with a car, matching it up fairly well like they did.

Looks like a mighty wide wheel base?
Looking at the faint marks around it anyway.
Dunno could be real.
Its interesting if nothing else thanks for that Dogbert.
And something you just spotted rather than a mocked up one so that makes it the more interesting.

Wheels arent perfectly prependicular to the tred, they have some curve, and when the weight of the body and the engine along with the axels and the rest of the car/truck, that tire gets spread out even more because of the amount of presure on those points for how heavy the vehicle is.

I have an old Jimmy in my garage and the tires on that thing are around 2 & 1/2 feet in diameter, but they are wide heavy things too. Michelin tires Smile

The width of the tire to tire area on the road there would look different in real life than in a photo, the closer you take the picture the wider that distance will appear to be.

Any more questions? lol

I'm going for the old shovel being dragged along the ground theory. :p

Pretty narrow shovel, and an odd stop mark close to the sidewalk lol. OP did mention though that they were treds, and I imagine he's the one that took this photo from the sounds of it as well.

Jesus though, If I had a shovel that narrow I would throw it out lol, it would take me hours to shovel my sidewalks and driveway.

You guys don't happen to live in a place in the world where it just doesn't snow do you? Because I live in Canada, and this kind of thing is easy for me to see. Snow on the ground here for 6 months of the entire year on average. so really it's like 2 seasons that we get, Winter, and Semi-summer where summer is packed into 3 categories of Summer itself, Fall, and Autumn lol.

You do see the tyre marks to the right of them both yea?
The ones moving out and under the hearts. They are quite a lot smaller wheel base.
Either this was a big truck or that was a small car doing that.
Still we will never know i guess. Would love to see someone try replicate this?
Anyone near the snow and got a car?
