C# book?
#1
I know this is C++ section, but I think its the best place to post here
I want to get a C# book, but there are too many out there.
Here is my situation, I have never understand programming language. I heard about class, variables, loops, etc, but I know nothing about it.
I have learnt a few Markup languages.

Any suggestions?

I found this book

Quote:Programming C# 4.0: Building Windows, Web, and RIA Applications for the .NET 4.0 Framework

Whats the differences between Pocket Reference, that book and Nutshell?

I can do HTML and CSS. Have a bit knowledge about Javascript and very VERY little about Java. I borrowed a C# for dummies from a library last year and I fall asleep.

When i learned C# i did start thinking it was REALLY boring.. But after some time i did see it was a bit like math, and i love math!
Your brain is on work when you make C# apps. and it is that part i like of it!
I would never start learning Ruby if i didn't like it.

But do you think this is a good book? Is it better than Learning C# 3.0? I found 3.0 is cheaper.

I have plenty of C# books if you want them.

Also this would belong in the Visual Basic and the .NET Framework forum because C# is a .Net based language. C# has nothing to do with C++.
