Quitting smoking idea?
#1
Well, I really want to quit smoking, but I can't.

So I was thinking, last time I quit it was for 2 months and I made myself cigarettes disgusting. I bought a pack of the most cheapest, low-quality cigarettes and I forced myself to smoke the pack in two hours. I felt like crap and it worked. So, now I was thinking to smoke all 15-16 cigarettes that are left in my pack at once, and make them disgusting again. Can something happen to me, like can I get poisoned or something? I know it isn't really "emotional support material" but it really affects me in that part too and I wish to quit for once.

Tell me your thoughts about it, is it a good idea?

When you feel like you need a smoke.
Chew a piece of gum.
May cost a ton, but it'll be worth it.

Eh I would definitely say in the risk of your health, not to smoke them all at once. As a matter of fact, just throw them away and either get the gum or the strip for your arm/back. If you feel yourself wanting to smoke, try doing something different to occupy your time.

Well I think it's a bad idea.
I recommend you to just drop the Cigs and don't buy anymore.
It can be hard, yes, but it will be worth it.

What I would suggest is, buying one of them fake cigs and use a nicotine patch or whatever, that way your body won't be forcing you to smoke, and you'll stay occupied with the fake cigs.

What I did to stop smoking is set a mental date to stop smoking (I chose a day one month away). I smoked everyday normally until that day, and I just stopped smoking. I never even had the urge to smoke after that day.

@OP I quit smoking in that way but it is extremely unhealthy. I agree with User Bars method.

I've watched my method succeed.
A family member had trouble quitting and went through all of those patches and other stuff that just waste your money.
I was surprised when something as simple as gum and determination worked.
Thanks for agreeing with me.
