Greetings Support Forums ,

Well I'm talking about HF members who comes to SF with a one and only intention of getting the support feather award by spamming 100 posts as quick as possible.They don't care about how old is the thread , they don't care about off topic posts , nor do they care about the Ban Logs containing PERMANENTLY banned members mostly because of spam posting.I know this has been said many times by many members but what made me to post this thread is because of this member and his activities :-

• Joined today
  
• Total posts = 100
  
• Posts per day = 100
  
• Reputation = 2 <--------
  

I hope Omniscient haven't issued him the award.So what do you guys think about these kind of things regarding the award ? please post your reply so that Omniscient will think some thing about it .

I created a thread regarding this issue a while ago and so did other members.
Omniscient has chosen to continue maintaining the award on HackForums but I think they should give it out differently.
Possibly if you have over 3 days of online time, 100 posts and a 0% warning level on SupportForums then only should you receive it.
Might consider making a suggestion, also if you see low quality posting taking place then make sure you report it as spamming.

The point behind the Support Feather is to increase activity here; it's backfired and now it's increased the spam on SF
If Omni made the requirements to achieve the Support Feather much stricter then we'd all be happy.

I think the SF Award is good. Omni knows that some kids will post 100 posts just because to get the award. And? He freakin don't care. SF will get more posts and activity.

A good thing for who? It's destroyed what was once a high quality forum with a lot of potential.

Well the members should get reviewed, but only the ones who request the awards. If the members has more than 5 posts he gets limited from here or something?
