Should I host my webserver at home?

HostGator or BlueHost and others are on dedicated business IP backbone connections that are designed to carry large amounts of data. I'm talking multi GBps and even TBs per second lines for each datacenter. those connections per line per commit can be tens of thousands per month and most have 2 per ISP and most datacenters have at least 3 ISPs. The industry average is 7 ISPs.

popular ISPs at the IP backbone level are:

XO
Cogent
Verizon
Abovenet
Hurricane Electric
Telia
TW Telcom

and several others

XO, Cogent, and HE are cheap providers.

However you must be a business to get connections like these or be on the ON-Net for the given area. And be able to afford them.

But I mean if someone upload child porn in hostgator how come they don't get fudged by the FBI?
Or bluehost? Or GoDaddy.
Because I heard after they find out the client had child porn they take them down but no FBI is up their ass for their client uploading virus,porn,warrez or so.

I think they check the content on the sites that are hosted on their sites and they also have a disclaimer if that's the right word for it I'm not sure

this. and if the fbi or whoever finds the content they order the ISP to take it down.

So if I have this clear
I have a TOS clearing everything of what is not allowed.

A client uploads illegal content.
FBI contacts -> ISP
ISP takes down my internet?
or
FBI -> ISP / ME
to take down the client.

If you can afford it, if your going to hist A machine at home be aware that you carnt turn your servers off. Otherwise the site wont be online

I wouldn't host it at my own house, you might get a unchecked client hosting child porn + booters + illegal fraud crap and youre fudged lol.

Servers are very loud, very hot... they take up crap loads of bandwidth on your Internet connection and they're expensive. Oh, they take up lots of room and if not treated properly with fans etc they will die. Kinda like a cannabis plant really.
