I listen to some UK Hip Hop & old American Hip Hop.
Can't stand new American Hip Hop. It's more like pop music than anything, and the lyrics seem to be getting worse by the year.

That's because it's chill out music. I wouldn't say they're boring though, maybe just not your taste.
