So i was recently thinking to make a new theme. My first one - http://mods.mybb.com/view/fusion-beta

I want my new theme to look more professional and have more use of javascript and have cool features and things. So i need some ideas on how i can make it look and work the way i want.

Start by making template edits to give it your own unique feel. Theme is default with colors changed. Just saying.

Ehhh I don't like it very much.

The design in the back looks kinda eh.

I'd scrap it and start fresh imo.

I dont know if you have used this site before but IMHO it has some damn good javascript functions in there check it here http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/index.html Here is some really cool image effects.
