Well that makes sense why I could never find out how people edit Flux to look like that.

Dual booting shouldn't be an issue. I don't understand why you are complaining about the look, you can change that yourself. Try out different environments and see which you like the best.

I agree with what everyone has said. You'll just have to try different desktop environments and themes for them. I personally like GNOME 2, XFCE, and Fluxbox the best. I think KDE is garbage. It's all up to you on what you like. That's why there are different ones; you chose what you want.
Also, like Ace said, that screenshot is Awesome Window Manager in Arch Linux, but it can be installed on any other Linux distribution. |
