It was an amazing find, and I'm glad that it's there.
Try right clicking Iron, and choose 'run as administrator'. IIRC, you have to have admin right to set the default browser. So if you don't run it as admin, it's not actually going to change, even if you click yes when it asks if you want to set it as your default browser.

I know how to set the default browser. What I'm saying is that even when it WAS set as the default browser, for some reason everything opened in Chrome instead. I'm not sure why. Thanks for trying to help though.

Haha, you should try Iron, it's exactly like chrome but more secure. Better 'under the hood' stuff.
