Just so you know, AV's aren't 100%. ESPECIALLY Norton when it comes to local malware.
Please do not rely on your AV. Nothing replaces safe browsing. If AV's were 100% there would be no malware.

I bet you your computer is overheating. You might need better cooling.

My work PC was blue screening recently, too. What I came to find out was there seemed to be two problems causing a blue screen. I re-installed windows, and found that my CD ROM drive was shot.
After taking out the CD ROM drive, I wasn't getting blue screens for awhile. Then a week later, I installed McAfee AV on my system, and it continually crashed within 15 minutes. I reformatted repeatedly, and kept installing McAfee over and over. I eventually reformatted and left McAfee off, and it's been running like a champ ever since.
