[HELP] Running Programs In The Background
#1
Hey guys.

Temporarily, I am living with some roommates, and if someone needs to use a computer or internet, my laptop would be what they are going to use. I have access to a password protected administrator account and they use the windows xp default guest account.

I always have things running on my account. PhotoShop, Torrents, FireFox, Download Managers, etc. The thing is, I would like my download managers to keep running and downloading those files while I log out of the admin account and switch over to the guest account.

When I log back into the admin account, the file should have progressed on the download, and if its a small file, it should be complete.

Is this even possible? Thanks for any help.

Instead of logging out, click Switch User. That will keep your user logged in in the background while they use the guest account.

Thanks man. I didn't even notice that option. I haven't used XP in years. ^_^. I appreciate it.
