I am starting a forums and to apply a theme downloaded from somewhere I need to add picture to the /images folder. How do I do this?

Mind my wording here but you will need to upload the pictures into your /images directory on your control panel of your webhosting.

Log in to your control panel and find the /images directory and click upload. This will upload your picture or pictures if you choose multiple ones, into the directory.

I have it hosted on mybbnew for now. How do i access the /images directory there?

You will have to wait for the control panel to come back online they are currently offline for some reason.

You can access the control panel at http://www.mybbnew.com/control/login.php

When the site comes back on, you login via that link I gave you and you should be able to see the /images directory. If not, contact me and i'll guide you further.

Something like "File Manager", I assume. I've never hosted a website, but that seems logical.

It all depends how the control panel is set up.

Due to it being a MyBB dedicated hosting, he may not have to access it through the File Manager.

firstly upload ur images to ur hosting panel and then open it the link in the address bar is the lnk from where u can see the photo ...and then u can use the <img scr="ur link">tag and ur photo is uploaded
