Emotional Suicide or Sacrifice?
#11
yeah you're right, it's been such a crap day again tho, i took what ya said into consideration and i'm gonna give it while before i do something i know i'll regret, my friend said to me earlier "you'll find the pefect one in the end" my only response was " i already have, it's just i'm not the one for her."
we both sat in silence after that for a few minutes then he replied by singing "ce sera sera" after that i was almost in tears, because i knew he was right. so for the next few days i'm going to try to take it as it comes, because at the moment there's nothing else i can do.

If she loves you like a brother, is there really anything you can do to make her love you the way you love her?

I think what you should do is signal her that you love her in one way or another, either one or two things will happen, or there's a third possibility.

she will think of you as a boyfriend, and youll become boyfriend girlfriend.
Or,
you've dug yourself so far into the friend zone youll find it tough to come out, if ever.

Third, you'll remain friends.

Good luck with it!

Hope everything turns out well with what ever route, or actions you take Smile

I think the second option will happen, I think he might be too fudged in the friend zone now to dig his way out.

it's possible, however she may feel the same way, and is just waiting for him to say something, and make the first move, and generally woman want men to make the first move.

Yea, I guess, but it seems like they have a tight relationship, so when he says that she loves him like a brother, I assume he said that because she has said it before. Anyways, who knows, but please let us know what happens OP.

True, that is a possibility, maybe she just said that, to cover up true feelings? or if he's said i love you to her before, that could of been the response, in that case if she did, your in the friend zone :\

but please let us know what you do, and what happens

she loves me like a brother ecause i've always been there for her, i know for a fact that she used to love me, but she say anything because she didn't want to ruin wat we had, i only found this out recently, but i think those feelings have passed, i think she doesnt want to feel that way anymore because she's always been hurt by other people when she did, What i have to do is prove to her that i'll never hurt her, but thats where her emotions come in, she honestly believes that once she loves someone they're going to hurt her, if i'm stuck in the friendzone for good i'll cope, but there'll always be that thought in the back of my mind that pops up every time i hug her of me never being able to let go, i'm not sure if i would ever be able to let her sleep in my arms again

that's a shitty situation, I would try to show her how you love her and just try to get her tol let you have achance. Just from what I have read you don't seem like the guy that would play her. Good luck man, and sorry for the sticky situation.
